P-12 Database
Database Basics
The P-12 Database is a subset of OSU's
larger Outreach
and Engagement database (O&E), exclusively designed to
connect the P-12 Educators in the community with the Ohio State
University through various
programs and projects in the State.
There are approximately 700
outreach and engagement programs in the P-12 Database that are
occurring throughout Ohio,
especially near OSU's campuses in Columbus, Mansfield, Lima,
Marion, Newark, and ATI in Wooster.
In P-12 database, you can search for
P-12 programs, post or update project records, and be linked to
related
websites for further information.
- Faculty and staff of OSU can
post community outreach/engagement activities into the directory
for added
visibility and to help maintain a complete list of outreach activities.
Any teaching, research or community service
qualifies as an outreach/engagement activity.
- P-12 educators
in the community can search or browse for programs relating
to Pre-K through 12th grade education. Database records
include programs such as youth camps, professional development
opportunities,
courses and seminars, and special events that can be found
throughout Ohio.
